Shipping, Delivery & Collection

At Pacific Oyster Co., we’re all about delivering fresh, top-quality oysters straight from Eyre Peninsula to you. To keep things smooth and stress-free, here’s everything you need to know about our shipping, delivery, and collection process.

General Shipping Information

Live Oysters

  • We currently provide live oysters only to select areas within South Australia.

  • All Adelaide Metro deliveries containing live oysters are packed in insulated cartons with ice packs to ensure freshness and cold-chain compliance.

All Other Products

  • We ship our other products Australia-wide (excluding live oysters).

  • Orders are processed Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays.

  • Non-perishable items (shuckers, condiments, gloves, merchandise, etc.) may ship separately.

📌 We do not ship live oysters via standard postal services due to food safety regulations.

Pop-Up Shop Orders (Local Pick-Up)

We love meeting our customers in person! If you order oysters for collection at one of our pop-up shop locations, here’s how it works:

Collection Time & Location

  • Pick-up is available only during designated hours at the chosen pop-up shop.

  • Location details and time slots are provided at checkout and in your confirmation email.

Missed Pick-Ups

  • If you miss your collection window, no refunds will be issued.

  • Need to make alternate arrangements? Contact us before your pick-up window closes to arrange an alternative (fees may apply).

Adelaide Metro Home Delivery

We offer home delivery within Adelaide metro and select nearby areas.

Delivery Schedule & Cut-Off Times

  • Order Cut-Off: 9pm for next available delivery day.

  • Delivery Days: Typically Tuesdays & Wednesdays (subject to availability).

  • Delivery Window: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (you’ll receive a text/email confirmation).

Receiving Your Order

  • If you won’t be home, please leave a cooler/esky with ice packs in a shaded area.

  • If no cooler is provided and no one is available to receive the order, your oysters will be left at your door at your own risk.

🚨 Pacific Oyster Co. is not responsible for oysters left unattended once delivery is completed.

Regional & Interstate Shipping

  • Excluding live oysters, we ship our products Australia-wide via Australia Post.

Shipping Non-Perishable Items (Tools, Condiments & Merchandise)

  • Australia-wide shipping available!

  • All non-perishable items ship within 3-5 business days of order confirmation.

  • Shipping is calculated at checkout, but may be adjusted for heavy, remote, or complex orders. We’ll contact you before dispatch to confirm any changes.

  • Options include standard or express post.

Delivery Issues & Refunds

We take every precaution to ensure your products arrive in top condition. If something goes wrong, here’s what to do:

Damaged or Incorrect Orders

  • Email us within 24 hours at hello@pacificoysters.com.au with:

    • Your order number

    • Clear photos of the issue

  • We’ll review your claim and arrange a replacement or refund where applicable.

Late Deliveries

  • While we strive for on-time delivery, delays may occur due to weather, transport disruptions, or courier issues.

  • If your products arrive late and don’t meet our quality standards, contact us immediately.

📌 We do not offer refunds for delivery delays beyond our control (e.g., road closures, extreme weather, courier delays).

Tracking Your Order

  • You’ll receive an email or SMS notification once your order is out for delivery.

  • Tracking is available for non-perishable shipments via Australia Post or courier.

Special Requests & Corporate Orders
